Southwest Presented Two Phillips 66 Safety Awards

Structure Tone Southwest was proudly recognized with two Phillips' 66 Safety Awards at Phillips 66 first annual safety summit. After an all-day review and assessment of the 35 contractors working for Phillips 66, three awards were presented.  Structure Tone Southwest won two of the three awards for:

Zero incidents in 2011 and 2012
Improvement of our safety record for 2011 and 2012

Under the direction of Matt Mazurek, Joe Cribbin and David Snyder (all of Structure Tone Southwest) the Phillips 66 Teams in Oklahoma and Texas successfully demonstrated the company’s commitment to safety. Structure Tone and Phillips 66 share a similar philosophy on safety, both are committed to the safety of everyone who works or visits the facilities and lives in the communities where they operate. site specific safety plans to achieve our shared vision.

Johnson & Johnson Honors Structure Tone's Project Team for Zero Lost-Time

Structure Tone was recognized by Johnson & Johnson for over 15,000 manhours of work without a lost time incident. Structure Tone is working with Kling Stubbins (STKS) to provide design/build services for renovations to its Spring House campus. The 107,000sf project is pursing LEED certification. The renovated Spring House campus will support a mixture of administration and laboratory research activities

Safety Achievement Awards Presented by OSHA to NJ Operations

Structure Tone was recognized by OSHA for exceptional safety results, a testament to our commitment to ensuring the safety of our work sites.

Award of Merit—Structure Tone’s Princeton office recognized for 147,928 hours without a lost-time injury
Award of Merit—America’s Data Center Project in NJ honored for 385,000 hours without a lost-time injury
Safety Achievement Award—Novartis Baseload Project in East Hanover, NJ recognized for 151,901 consecutive hours of work without a disabling injury

Driscoll Honored for Exceptional Safety and Quality Standards

L.F. Driscoll is the proud recipient of the Liberty Award, an annual award presented by The Liberty Chapter of Philadelphia to an individual or organization that demonstrates excellence in the area of building safety. Ken Innella, vice president, accepted the honor on behalf of L.F. Driscoll.

Roy Somerfield Honored with Gold Award

Roy Somerfield, SHEQ manager for Structure Tone International was honored with a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award for achieving a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.

Safe-T Accredited

Structure Tone Dublin has become a Safe-T Cert accredited company. Safe-T Cert is a construction sector-specific safety management system standard owned by the Construction Industry Federation and implemented in collaboration with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Our office achieved the highest rating, to date, of any first-time applicant and was recently “A” rated.

OSHA Awards Presented to NJ Offices

With hundreds of active construction sites throughout the State, Structure Tone was recognized for safety excellence for the fifth consecutive year. Both New Jersey construction management offices, Lyndhurst and Hamilton, as well as the Americas Data Center project were honored for achieving safety excellence through consecutive hours worked with no lost time or recordable injuries.

Structure Tone maintains strict compliance to our corporate safety program, which exceeds the requirements of the State to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

Construction Safety Plans Lead to Excellence

Honored for outstanding construction safety performance, Structure Tone accepted the Gold Level Safety Award from Liberty Mutual. Our team exceeded the industry standard by 90% on a confidential data center project in New Jersey, and completed 230,000 man hours without a lost time injury.

Structure Tone’s safety manager built a strong safety plan and established a team approach. With the cooperation and commitment of each member of the team—the Owner, Construction Realty Safety Group (CRSG), Structure Tone and all of the trades—we were able to achieve this honor.

ABC Texas STEP Platinum Award

Construction safety is a priority for Structure Tone Southwest, a member of the Structure Tone organization. For the sixth year in a row, we participated in the ABC Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) and achieved STEP Platinum. The award is based on a firm’s progress and improvement in safety and its training and risk mitigation programs. This elite status is reserved for companies that consistently demonstrate safety success. We are also participating in the 2011 ABC OSHA Statewide Partnership Agreement.
