Tallest Building Between New York and Chicago

Constantly changing the skyline of Philadelphia, our firm built and fit-out 1701 JFK Blvd. (Comcast Center), a 58-story, 975ft high office tower. The 1.254M sf building includes:

  • 1.254M sf of office space
  • restaurants and retail space
  • multiple three-story stacked atria
  • a half acre landscaped park
  • new entrance and expansion to Suburban Station and its retail concourse
  • a 500-seat concourse level dining court
  • 120 private space underground parking garage

Comcast, the primary tenant, leased 1.1M sf over 52 floors. The space includes:

  • a Winter Garden, featuring the Comcast Experience a 25.4ft tall, 83.3ft wide, 2,000sf high definition LED screen that runs 18-hours each day
  • a conference room floor with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment
  • four floors of executive offices
  • a two-story cafeteria with full kitchen
  • training center called Comcast University
  • general office space

Tallest LEED Building in the US

Breaking records, the LEED Gold certified building is the tallest in the US. It was designed to use 40% less water than a typical office building, and the plaza was designed to reduce heat-island effect from the pavement by 70%. Reducing air conditioning and lighting costs, the low-emissivity glass curtainwall blocks 60% of heat while allowing 70% of the sun’s light inside.
